The mastermind responsible for these shirts and designs is HipsterDaddy Jim Faris, an artist, designer, and musician based in the DC area. He proudly features his own portrait on one of the shirts and seems to be quite pleased with it.
These shirts are produced on demand by HipsterDaddy, typically using heat transfer printing, although this particular one feels remarkably like silkscreen to me. Not to mention how soft it is! They also fit true to size.
